The marine division at E. L. Wood Braiding Company consists of double braid (braid on braid), solid braid, and diamond braids. Our diamond braids are the most economical, the braid on braid is a braided sleeve over a braided core that makes it fully spliceable, and the solid braids are a solid braided construction with no hollow core. All of these items can be manufactured in any of the nylon colors that we currently stock as well as an endless number of color combinations. Please refer to our color chart listing for all of the nylon colors that we currently stock, it is overwhelming.

If you are searching for double braided dock lines or anchor ropes to match the color of your boat or yacht, look no longer, we can custom make them especially for you. We also offer all of these items in Polyester, Polypropylene, and many more “high tech” fibers. Nylon will not rot, mildew, nor deteriorate, polyester has less elongation than nylon, and polypropylene is economical and floats making it ideal for water usage. The double braid is available in diameters ranging from 3/16” – 1”, the solid braid in diameters from 1/8” – 1/2”, and the diamond braids from 1/16” – 1/2”.
